The Tunadal Sawmill is a spruce sawmill with an integrated planing mill for production of customized and/or further processed solid-wood products.

Main products – Developed Timber
The main focus is on customized and/or further processed solid-wood products for building or interior decoration applications. Examples are specialized wood based, for example, on grade, length and/or moisture ratio – often in a processed form. A niche orientation based on the sawmill’s high-quality raw material is customized wood for industrial customers in the joinery sector.

Raw materials
Raw materials are mainly from SCA’s FSC certified forests and are delivered by the local forest districts within SCA Skog. Raw material consumption is estimated at 740,000 m³.

Tunadal’s planing mill
Tunadal’s planing mill is highly efficient and integrated with the sawmill. The planing mill offers exact cutting, bundling and wrapping to customer specifications. The largest product segments are paneling, building components and DIY products.
