The Rundvik Sawmill is a spruce sawmill with one of Sweden’s largest integrated planing mills. The sawmill produces customized and/or further processed solid-wood products for home interiors and the construction industry.

Main products – Developed Timber
Planed spruce and pine products for interior decoration and construction applications. These products are adapted to customer-specific lengths and grades.

Raw materials
The raw material, which is cut in different lengths to suit different product programs, is mainly from SCA’s own FSC certified forests. Most of the timber comes from the provinces of Västerbotten and Ångermanland. Timber from these regions is high-density with a healthy live-knot structure. Raw material consumption is estimated at 520,000 m³ fub per year.

Shipping
Customers throughout Europe can be reached by vessel from our own port terminal in Rundvik. The SCA Interforest Terminal at Holmsund is used for ocean-going transport using conventional ships or container vessels. Shipments in Europe by truck or rail are arranged where these methods provide the best transport solutions.
